Calligraphic pastoral stole. X REGIO, December 2021, collezione IV Piana. Virgin wool, silk and lurex (Lanificio Faliero Sarti, Prato). The stole is calligraphied by Konstantinos Jannakis, Greek text from Galatians, II, 20. Enriched with 44 natural baroque pearls and hard stone beads: 118 smoky quartz, 68 rock crystal. X REGIO is a Catholic and Orthodox paramentics company founded in Treviso in 1995 by Stefano Zanella and Gianluca Scattolin, and now based in Venice. The cut, decoration and choice of fabrics are the fruit of long and meticulous research into the development of liturgical vestments since the Paleochristian era.
