Gift of Mr Koh Putt Poh.
The floral motifs of this ceremonial shoulder piece are arranged along an invisible central, horizontal line, and are meant to be viewed upright when draped on the shoulder. Different techniques create a sense of texture – glass seed beads on the upper and lower panels are stitched on, complete with threaded bead fringes at the top and bottom.
