This ceremonial adornment, consisting of a headdress, necklace and belt, was worn at weddings. Red coral symbolizes life, as its color is akin to blood. It is also unique in that its nature combines three distinct kingdoms: animal, vegetable through the shape of its branches, and, as it is often associated with gems, mineral – From A.
