Multi-colored necklace worn by women from Samburu in North-Central Kenya. Dominant colours are sky blue, orange, yellow, deep red and white with touches of green, black and white. The lower central part of the necklace is a miniature version of the Kenyan flag (red, white and green) which consists of a shield, criss-cross spears. The outer outline of the necklace is made of deep red, white and black beads, evenly spaced with three-quarters of the outline interwoven with metallic chains and sequins.
