Chasuble for the “canonization of Saint François de Sales for the Blois monastery celebrations”, 1665. Embroidered silver background, polychrome silk edging, gold and silver threads, fine pearls, glassware. In the center of the back cross, the medallion features the painted and embroidered effigy of the new saint, based on an engraving by Grégoire Huret. The medallion alternates red and green silk thread, gold thread and baroque pearls.
