The canvas is covered with white and yellow tubular glass beads in undulating movements. Ochre and mauve beads are used to create rinceaux. The Musée de la Visitation de Moulins brings together and presents to the public the paramentiquary and goldsmith’s collections of numerous monasteries of the Visitation Sainte-Marie, whose nuns have distinguished themselves since their foundation in the 17th century by the excellence of their needlework.
