CREE BOOTS

Berlin work is a style of embroidery that was popular in the 19th century. This hand-made craft was linked to the early Arts and Crafts movement, and patterns for Berlin work slippers commonly appeared in women’s magazines from this period. This pair of men’s slippers features needlework done with bright and vibrant threads. White, grey, and black beads also decorate the uppers, outlining the colorful floral crest on each vamp.
